Dedric Boressen fell aboard the dragger Antonina and struck his head on machinery on the deck. Fellow crew members found him unconscious and carried him to his bunk. They rushed him to Nantucket, but he died of his injuries on March 23, 1958. The accident occurred 8 miles east of Half Moon Shoals.
